The story of Holy Ground

Originally Holy Ground was founded as "Forest Falls Christian Center" by a Korean missionary pastor by the name of Hong Gweun. For over 30 years, Pastor Gweun and his family welcomed guests to their precious retreat from all over the world. Pastor Gweun felt the Lord leading him to bring the gospel to the African country of Chad and spent 10 years out there building churches and discipling the people of that country. Being in Africa allowed him less and less time to keep up the retreat center. After 30 years of hospitality, ministry and travel all over the world, it was decided to pass along the center to new owners.

We would like to introduce ourselves to all past, present and future guests and share our story as well. We are Mizrain (aka Sammy) and Karla Moreno. We both have had radical conversions after meeting the Lord. We love the Lord with all our hearts and wr are privileged to have this center and to have it set apart and dedicated to seeking him. We are committed to set and maintain a pure, holy and sanctified atmosphere where all of our guests can come relax in the peace of his presence.
